The Sounds of Heaven

For by Him all things were created in heaven and on earth, visible or invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.  He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.  Colossians 1: 16-17

As children, we’ve all been trained to perceive and interact with the “visible” world. Yet, few of us have been trained to navigate the “invisible” realm. Did you know that according to Hebrews 5:14, you have “spiritual senses”? Our spiritual senses correspond to our “natural senses” (i.e. seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touching). Let’s consider our spiritual sense of hearing.

National prophets have been declaring that God is releasing a “new sound” into the earth at this strategic time in history. What is that sound? How do we hear it? 

To begin, we must understand that God made more than “visible things”. He also created “invisible things.” Certain sounds belong to the natural world and certain sounds belong to the invisible world, the culture of the Spirit. Certain frequencies travel through air and can be heard by humans. There are other frequencies that cannot be heard by those with 2 legs, but only by our 4-legged friends! In other words, your dog can hear more than you can!

However, there are other frequencies being broadcast from the throne of heaven. We can’t hear those sounds with our natural ears; only with our spiritual ears. God is opening our spiritual ears to be able to hear the sounds of heaven.

Satan has a “sound,” too. That sound is called “noise”. Noise, according to Chuck Pierce, is “unwanted sound”. Noise has the power to create a negative point of view. Conversely, hearing God’s sound creates in us a faith-filled perspective. And noise can obscure our “heavenly hearing” from God.

We have all been “wired” to hear God’s sound, the sound of heaven broadcasting to earth in this hour. My advice? Turn off what you know is noise and tune into the frequency of heaven. Our God is a communicating God. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice”. 

May our spiritual senses be tuned to the “new sounds” of heaven being released over our church, our government, our economy, and our world. God is fixing to adjust some things here in the earth realm. Let’s be the ones that hear His sound and penetrate the earth with His goodness!

DECLARATION: We declare that any “spiritual deafness” caused by a “religious spirit” is removed from our lives. God is opening our spiritual ears in new ways . We will hear the sound of heaven and be the ones to transform culture for the glory of God!
