Seek His Face

“Here’s the ONE thing I crave from God, the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with Him every moment in His house, finding the sweet loveliness of His face, filled with awe, delighting in His glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to Him that He takes pleasure in my every prayer” Psalms 27:4 TPT

SCRIPTURE READING: 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

No matter what stage of life we are in, or what we have done, no matter how far we may have moved away from that safe place of connection in His arms, the Father wants us to run to the altar because His arms are always open wide.

As Christians, we are called by His name and need to seek His presence more than anything else. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to help us want the Healer more than the healing, and to desire His precious companionship more than anything. Then, our God who is forever faithful and always true to His word, will fulfill His promise and heal our land and all the rest will be added unto us. (Matthew 6:33)

Falling in love with Jesus is the best thing we could ever do – in His loving arms, looking into His face is where we feel most protected and always connected to Him!

REFLECTION:

  1. Focus on the lyrics of any worship song that allows you to draw closer and press into Him. A song that may minister to you is “Open Up the Sky” by Deluge Band and Jonathan Stockstill. (Find the song here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQja3FMj7yU )
  2. Think about your friendship with Jesus and how you can increase quality time with Him to deepen the friendship to the next level.

DECLARATION: Jesus, You are my best friend and I need You all the time!
